The Tatra Herb Company is one of the pioneers in the Herb industry. It was established in 1929 by Dr. George Zofchak while attending the American School of Chiropractic and Naturopathy in New York City. The name was chosen as a symbol of health and unspoiled natural beauty from the majestic Tatra mountains in Czechoslovakia. In this part of Europe, herbs have been gathered and used for centuries.

Dr. Zofchak, the founder is a Naturopath, Chiropractor, and Herbalist and is one of the oldest and most respected practitioners of natural healing on the east coast. His methods evolve from the belief that the natural properties in herbs are beyond imitation and that many herbs possess valuable properties that are compatible with the body.

During his 50 years of experience working with herbs, Dr. Zofchak has developed a number of special herbal blends.
